Vines planted in the 1920's still remain. There is not many but they are still there. 26 vine trees remain of an amazingly well suited grape to such a warm dry climate. Picked at relatively low sugar levels, cinsault has an amazing amout of spice. These vines offer something in a very light spectrum even though we are fermenting on skins for up to three weeks. Aged in an old barrel for a year before bottling.
